The cellulose acetate has a lovely subtle gloss that catches the light nicely, and the 1" x 2.5" size is perfect for holding back a section of hair without feeling too big. It arrived well before mid-January, which was a nice surprise.
The gold French clasp feels sturdy and it's smaller than I expected, but the detailed butterfly shape is lovely. It holds a section of my hair well without slipping.
